Our Program Chair arranges to have a different guest speaker address the club during our monthly meeting. Guest speakers are booked approximately six months in advance.
Our speaker's subjects are selected to be of wide interest to the club audience of retired men and women with a wide range of experience.
After a speaker's application is received, our Program Chair has a brief conversation usually on the telephone, requesting a mini-bio, asking if there is any fee associated with the talk to make a decision if the presentation is acceptable to our Club.
The speaker is advised that the length of the presentation should be no longer than 45 minutes, including the time of questions and answers. The speaker should arrive the day of the meeting at 10:30 am to complete setup before the introduction at 11:00 am. The presenter is advised that our facility is fully equipped with an A/V system, screen and cable all of which is normally compatible with their laptops and/or other devices which may be used during the presentation.
